Planning a family day out in Gran Canaria

Staying in the south? Perchel Beach Club, Sioux City Park, the Mogán submarine and the camel ride are all a short drive from Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés and Puerto Rico. Sioux City runs a free park bus from many south resorts; for the others you'll need a taxi, bus or car. Banana World is in Arucas in the north, about an hour's drive, so it works best with a hire car. With toddlers, under-3s ride camels free with a parent and Perchel has a splash park, but under-2s can't go on the submarine. Perchel Beach Club is the only one of the five listed as wheelchair accessible. Sioux City Park is closed on Mondays.
